Henley
The Henley Fabric Sofa is in the same style as our Berwick Fabric Sofa except that The Henley Sofa has scatter cushion back and as a result is less deep at 96cm.
Like the Berwick, it is a classic, comfortable, deep sofa made with fixed back and seat cushions. It is very curvy and quintessentially English. It is a good addition to any home setting with its rolltop arms and elegant lines.
The Henley Fabric Sofa is ideal for those of us who like to curl up in a deep comfortable sofa. Although our standard size is very deep at 102cm, we can make the Henley less deep and with seat buttons instead of the normal seat cushions.
The history: The Henley Sofa takes its name from Henley-on-Thames, an Oxfordshire town founded in the 12th century, and best known for the annual Royal Regatta which was first held in 1839. Henley attracts some of the world´s finest rowers. Statues of recent great Olympians Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Matthew Pinsent greet visitors to the town’s award winning River and Rowing Museum.
Like the Berwick Sofa, the Henley is supplied in 3 standard sizes but can be tailor made to your own requirements whether you are making a bold statement or whether your tastes are more conservative.
The arms have an elegant, large scroll which gives this sofa its classic looks. It seats comfortably and can be made to fit any space. It can also be supplied with seat buttons, in leather or customers' own material. The legs can be one of our numerous styles – with castor or wood. We’ll supply the leg in any natural wood colour you want or painted to any colour of your choice.
Covering materials: It can be covered in fabric, leather, waterproof materials or customers' own materials. We’ve listed our suggested materials here but you can request any fabric or leather samples you want. You can also supply your own.
Bespoke services: We offer fully bespoke service. You have complete freedom in terms of the style, the sizes (though below you can find our standard sizes) and covering materials.
