The Marlborough Chesterfield Sofa is our beautiful intepretation of English Chesterfield Furniture. Known for its curves, buttoned seat and proportions; it is a cut above the rest. Exquisite in fabric or leather

Marlborough Chesterfield Sofa, a Chesterfield Sofa with curves and deep buttoned seat (optional extra). It’s covered here in luxurious green velvet. The legs are wooden turned legs in light Mahogany finish. The Marlborough Chesterfield can also be supplied with seat cushions and legs with brass casters.

The Marlborough Chesterfield sofa puts a hint of modern on an otherwise classic shape and covering it in velvet makes it so much more special.

Although covered in utterly sumptuous Velvet, it can also be covered in leather or if you wish in your own material.
The Marlborough sofa is handmade in England by our master craftsmen. The sofa is shown here with button seat, but can be made with seat cushions instead. The legs can also be one of our many types of legs – with castor or wood. The wood can be any natural wood colour or we can paint them to a colour of your choice.

Size and dimensions: Our products are handmade so can be manufactured to your specific dimensions. You may, of course, use our standard dimensions if you wish.

The manufacturing:
The Marlborough Chesterfield is one of the specials in our collection, handcrafted with traditional materials and methods. Classics shapely lines. Substantial but elegant. It looks different with its seat buttons and will fit gracefully into a modern or classic home.
The frame is made of the highest quality solid beech hardwood frames.  It’s joints are dowelled and glued. Stress points are also screwed to ensure durability and the seat platforms are steel sprung or webbed with high-tension webbing.

Although The Marlborough is normally made with buttoned seat, you can have cushions filled with either memory foam, reflex fibre or feather according to your personal needs and for optimum comfort.

Covering materials: It can be covered in fabric or leather. We’ve listed our suggested materials here but you can request any fabric or leather samples you want. You can also supply your own.

Bespoke services: We offer a fully bespoke service. You have complete freedom in terms of the style, the sizes and covering materials. Contact us with your needs or specific requirements and we’ll be happy to help you get the best Sofa. Remember that you can change the sizes of the arms, seats, combine different materials. In fact you can design your own sofa - and we are ready to deliver it to you in the highest quality you can expect.
